Key Responsibilities

An opportunity exists to join Dell EMC’s Managed Service Organization. Managed Services is a growing service within Dell Technologies. We provide high quality service to support our core products.  The role would be supporting a leading car manufacturer. Working with a number of different platforms, your role would be to ensure that the day to day operations and Service Level Agreements are met. We are also looking for people who think outside the box and have a proactive attitude.

  • Assist in managing and supporting the customer’s storage environment (Incident, Change, Problem Management)
  • Performs necessary storage infrastructure maintenance in accordance with Dell EMC and customer's change management policies.
  • Identifies opportunities for improving storage operations.
  • Develops and maintains direct customer and broader service delivery relationships.
  • Assists in implementing delivery management process improvements
  • Ability to support and instruct less experienced co-workers, through classroom training sessions or on-the-job mentoring.
  • Must participate in on-call activities

Essential Requirements

  • Technical college degree with 5+ years’ experience.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Strong operational knowledge of at least 2 of following core technologies:
  • Dell EMC VMAX
  • Dell EMC Isilon
  • Dell EMC ECS
  • Dell EMC Unity
  • Storage Networks (Brocade)
  • Dell Compellent
  • Distributed File System (DFS)
  • NetApp
  • NetApp cDot
  • Dell Network Switches
  • Tape Libraries
  • Knowledge of storage array performance analysis & design.
  • Strong communication, presentation and cross functional skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, negotiation and organizational skills.
  • Dell EMC Proven Professional or Industry Certifications.

Desirable Requirements

  • VMware products (especially vRO, vRA and vROPS)
  • Windows & Linux operating systems
  • Active Directory / LDAP / RBAC
  • Scripting & Programming knowledge an advantage
  • SSH & PowerShell
  • Awareness of DevOps or Agile an advantage
  • ITIL Certification
